Author of "The Philosophy of Conspiracy Theories" (Palgrave Macmillan), M wrote their PhD on epistemic issues surrounding belief in conspiracy theories. They are a frequent media commentator on the weird and the wonderful, both locally and internationally. On occasion they can be caught dreaming about wax lions but, mostly, it is rumoured they work for elements of the New World Order.

No mention of Jenny McCarthy and http://www.jennymccarthybodycount.com? Or do her views not count as conspiracy theory, just scientific illiteracy and willful ignorance?
Didn’t have the time, unfortunately. Too many celebrities, too many celebrities…
Found your blog when I googled “conspiracy theory map” because I wanted to find out if anyone’s done anything like it. You have, it seems. I’m a Swedish writer who’s lately become obsessively interested in conspiracy theories and theorists – in the sense that I am extremely sceptical and critical and that I want to understand the underlying psychology of conspiracy theory and mass delusions. I would love to get in contact with you, if you can spare the time. If you can, send me an e-mail and tell me more about your thesis and when it’ll be finished, and I’ll tell you about my ideas for an upcoming novel…
Sorry for the very long delay in approving/replying to this comment. I’ve been hiding away finishing the PhD and neglecting most forms of social discourse. I’ll e-mail you shortly.
